He is perfectly faithful and keeps his promises. Isaiah was a prophet with not much positive outcome, yet he still praised. He was given so many prophecies to foretell the coming of the Messiah which was a wonderful thing planned long ago that he didn’t get to see in his lifetime. Regardless, Isaiah still trusted God. Application: We can trust that God has plans for our lives and the lives of those we pray for. Maybe we won’t see the outcome, but we still need to trust him and have faith. Prayer: Spend time in prayer asking God to help you trust him no matter what and to keep praying. Worship for his faithfulness. Click here to view all resources for the Worship SOAP Bible Study.

My mouth is filled with your praise, Observation: Worshiping all day long because he is a refuge, rock fortress, hope, confidence. Splendor means brilliant or glorious appearance, grandeur, glory. This psalm is most likely written by David. He is a man of worship! Application: If your mouth is filled with praise all day long, it can’t also be filled with something else…complaining, arguing, etc. We can worship all day long because of who he is. Prayer: Give praise to the Lord today. Worship him as often as you can and intentionally battle anything else that tries to take its place. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.” Revelation 14:7 Observation: An angel is saying this to all who live on earth. God keeps giving chances before the final judgment. We are to fear God and give him glory. God made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and springs of water: everything! Worship continues in heaven. Application: Since God keeps giving chances, are you choosing to worship him? Prayer: Come before God in worship today. Pray for those who have not yet chosen to worship him. Pray that they would choose to worship before the final judgment; either when Christ returns or their time on this earth is done. Click here to view all resources for the Worship SOAP Bible Study.
