Dive into God’s Word to learn how it describes and defines worship by using the SOAP Bible Study Method (Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer). Use the Worship SOAP Bible Study Workbook to help keep all your studies in one place. Praying that the following will be a launching pad into your studies! Feel free to add any extra notes in the comments for others who are studying.
Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name."
Hebrews 13;15
Observation: Author of this book is unknown. The word continually means nonstop. Sacrifice of praise means it may not be easy, but we need to do it. We should worship openly without fear as we profess his name. Through Jesus because Jesus died on the cross for us and made us holy and able to come before the Lord in boldness to worship. Fruit is grown from a heart that desires to worship and serve the Lord.

Application: Do our lives and lips produce fruit that continually praises the Lord? Do we openly profess his name or keep it to ourselves?

Prayer: Spend time in prayer asking God to help you be a person who openly professes his name and continually brings a sacrifice of praise.
