 Worship the Lord with gladness;
    come before him with joyful songs.
Psalm 100:2

Observation: Joyful songs; worship doesn’t have to sound like a funeral dirge but can be celebratory and happy! Joy doesn’t always mean happy though but can be worshiping through trials. However, this verse says gladness and joy so we can conclude that is probably happy worship. This entire psalm is a psalm of grateful praise!

Application: We can be filled with joy because he made us, and we are his. We have so many reasons to be glad while we worship and give gratitude for all he has done.

Prayer: Pray and worship in a tone of gladness and joy today. Even if you are going through a hard time, do your best to praise and give thanks.
