Let us go to his dwelling place,
    let us worship at his footstool."
Psalm 132:7

Observation: Worship at his feet. A song of ascents is a pilgrimage psalm as travelers head to Jerusalem. Most likely written by Daivd which means he is writing in the third person. Someone would need to be low in posture in order to worship at his footstool; bending down and worshipping. This shows the difference in worthiness. God is worthy and we are not.

Application: We are unworthy to be in his presence, yet he allows it.

Prayer: Spend time in prayer and worship today. Again, realizing who you are in comparison to the Lord. While you pray and worship, take a moment to bend down and kneel in his presence.
