Dive into God’s Word to learn how it describes and defines worship by using the SOAP Bible Study Method (Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer). Use the Worship SOAP Bible Study Workbook to help keep all your studies in one place. Praying that the following will be a launching pad into your studies! Feel free to add any extra notes in the comments for others who are studying. Worship the Lord in the splendor of his[a] holiness; Observation: The book of Psalms has repetitive parts and themes. Therefore, it’s okay to have repetition. It's okay to worship the same way over and over; not for emotional manipulation’s sake, but for pleading and confirmation. Tremble because of reverent fear; he is good yet powerful. Reminds me of Mr. Beaver talking about Aslan. "Safe? ... Who said anything about safe? 'Course he isn't safe. But he's good. He's the King, I tell you". Holiness means purity, saintly, godlike, perfect. Application: God is so radiant in his splendor and holiness. All the earth can’t help but tremble before him. Prayer: Spend time in prayer asking God to help you realize how full of splendor and holiness he is. Let that impact your worship of him!
