You are encouraged to use the Worship SOAP Bible Study Workbook to keep all of your notes and reflections in one place. You are also encouraged to just do your study on Monday through Saturday. Reserve Sunday for worshiping with your local church. Praying this study helps reset your heart and mind on how Scripture defines worship!​

the SOAP BIBLE STUDY METHOD

This straightforward method of studying Scripture encourages you to study one verse at a time while examining the surrounding context. You are also given the opportunity to reflect on the verse and examine how it can be applied to your life. To conclude, you will spend time in prayer with God and ask him to help you apply it to your life.

SCRIPTURE

Take your Scripture passage to heart by writing it out word for word. If you have room, write it out more than once!

OBSERVATION

Write down as many details as possible that you observe in this passage such as audience, historical context, repetitive words, definition of words, etc. Honestly, anything that stands out to you!

APPLICATION

After considering the observations that you made, how can you apply the truths of this passage to your life?

PRAYER

Write out a short prayer asking God to help you apply the truths of this passage to your life.
